3. The Dog Park at Bob Woodruff
A large 7-acre off-leash park, the dog park at Bob Woodruff is one of Plano’s largest dog parks. There are separate sections at this dog park, keeping large and small breeds separate. In total, this dog park has four different sections. Two areas are for smaller dogs, and the other two are for larger ones. The entire dog park is fenced in, and there are double-gated entrances to let dogs safely enter and exit the park. For thirsty dogs, a water fountain can be found in the off-leash areas, as well as doggy bags and trash cans to make it easier to pick up after your pup. The dog park at Bob Woodruff is a very open off-leash area, with large amounts of flat land perfect for playing games like fetch or frisbee.
