The video shows four bear cubs climbing on and over the swingset in Asheville, North Carolina. Two of them wrestled on the green and yellow slide while one more looked on. The fourth cub goes to the other side to try his luck at climbing the rungs. The mother bear sits nearby, taking a break. She keeps a watchful eye on the cubs as they play. Mother bears can be very protective of their cubs. The person shooting the video wisely stayed away and gave the bears a chance to play uninterrupted. If they had tried to confront the bear family, the mother bear would have probably felt threatened, resulting in a very dangerous situation. Eventually, the little cubs make it to the top of the slide. One of them attempts to climb into the swing but is chased off by mama bear to go play with its siblings. Three of the cubs go down the slide together, moving over the bumpy areas in one big tangle of fur. While there isn’t any sound with the video, it’s not hard to imagine these cubs as giggling kids playing on a swingset. At this point, mama bear is intervening in the play and wrestling. The cubs push the swings back and forth and run around the play structure. The mother bear stands in the middle, ready to redirect or help as needed. The slide remains a favorite of one cub in particular, who climbs up the slide and goes back down a few times. Overall, this is a fun outing for this adorable bear family. Next Up:
